World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The item upgrade lets players increase an item's gear rating up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Some weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a single unit. This bonus could exceed the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is usually a good thing, but it can also have negative effects. For items that are only used in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them can make them unusable unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their effectiveness. For instance, if you have a helm or chest, this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts increase their strength and dexterity. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may roll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain upon upgrading along with the relative value of those stats. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.
A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the menu for items. This will roll the item and alter its stats however, it will not reset the weapon's level or connect to the status of your account.
Armor
A few tweaks to your armor can make a an enormous difference in your ability to endure. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which makes the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. Generally speaking, the more defense your character is, the more value you will get out of each point of health you have, so it's important to improve your armor as much as you can.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in all each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a large group of enemies in most cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a few of your friends.
You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to gain some benefits to your armor. You'll generally want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets so that you can get around a few monsters.
Potions
Potions are substances in bottles that, if consumed, give the player a temporary status effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be used in cauldrons. This is the same for using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will drain the potion and refill the bottle.

Trinkets

The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying a new one. item upgrader can be done by a player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the previous one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
Once the old Trinkets are not usable, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding which items to upgrade, players must also take into account the class's preferred stats. For example when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and helm.
Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket, unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying a new one.
